I have a banana tree that was previously planted years and years ago before I moved into my flat. It’s about 12-14 feet high and two yards from a raised planter box next to my front door.

I noticed that it has a significant amount of rust (black and dark brown spots) and powder mold, some even forming web-like white puff under neath it’s leaves. I noticed a few spots on one of my newly planted succulent in my planter box and want to treat my plants, but think it’s best to treat the banana tree as well….

Someone told me about using rust and or copper in a large spray pump to knock out any diseases for this non-native tropical outdoor plant. Any suggestions?
