Made a big error. cut down a nearby alfalfa grass field and now have tarnished plant bug (TPB) infestation. We live in BC near 100 Mile house and we have an organic hay farm - meaning we don't use any sprays. Chance to say that the fields were probably loaded with TPB and to make matters worse I brought some of the cut down grass to use as mulch! Oye! Now what do I do? I'm in tears. I was just beginning to LOVE gardening and learning and voraciously reading about companion gardening, but this is a new garden. I have strawberry plants interplanted with borage (but they are borage seedlings) so they unfortunately are not helping yet. I'm devastated. Can someone give me some words of wisdom and perhaps hope! Thanks!
