I think it is very ironic that the day I begin Veggie Gardener, we get our first snow of the year. We do not get snow very often here in Southeast Virginia – perhaps once or twice a year.

I am looking forward to Spring and getting out in the garden. I am currently working on my Garden Plan, which I will be posting here in the coming weeks, after it is completed.

Creating a garden plan is a key tool I use to determine where vegetable plants will be planted, and how much room I have to use. I will discuss these items in detail in the upcoming Creating A Garden Plan post.
The only thing better than planning what I will grow and where it will be grown is actually getting out and planting!

Hopefully, this growing season will be fun and prolific. It will be my pleasure if you join me here on Veggie Gardener.
