Hi, I'm Lori I am ready to amend my yard with compost for my veggie garden =) I already have my seeds sprouting. They r getting big. I hope I'm not to late. I live in Chula Vista Ca. Close to San Diego. I could use some advice please =) also nee to the computer.lol

you will be fine down there, you should be able to grow veggies year round. with a bit of irrigation watering most of your veggies should be just fine. hold off on things like spinach,lettuce and any other cold weather crops til fall. but right now is perfect timing for warm/hot weather crops to be planted.
I am in washington state and my cold weather crops are just getting a good hold with the warmer weather. it will be nice when my veggies that like heat get going in a month or so.
