Hi, I am an old gardener but returning to the sport after a long hiatus. I decided to build raised beds, and had them filled with a garden mix from the local compost place. (Richmond, TX near Houston) My plants, some transplanted and some by seed, are not growing, the cukes are turning white and the tomatoes are yellow. and they haven't grown any at all in a month. is my soil just bad and i'm hopeless, or will fertilizer help? I want it to be organic.....so what should i do?

get a sample of the soil and contact your local conservation district they should be able to test it for you and find out what the heck is going on.
