Hi,all...Hope someone here can give me a good answer. I have a small garden (vegetables ) in my backyard. This year I would like to try tomatoes in raised beds. Already bought a raised bed and some tomato seeds. Now, my friend who is working at In the Backyards, professional gardening service says that if we plant basil with tomatoes ,it will repel insects and make the tomatoes taste better and sweet. Is it true? If yes, Is there a scientific evidence on this idea? If it is only a myth, why should I waste the space in my bed for basils? I'm not a basil lover !
Please give me an answer. Thanks in advance.
