I got a trailer load of cattle manure. It's mixed with straw/hay nots sure which, I forgot to ask. Farmer says it is fairly fresh. I am letting it sit in a pile over the winter. Do you figure it will be OK to use in the gardens in the spring?
I have also used a bit and mixed it with leaves and kitchen scraps in another pile.
