Hi everyone. Just wanted to share a thought.,,
I think I have almost read this whole website in the past month..... sometimes reading some articles two or three times. I love the idea for the trellis. We have a black metal frame that is 6 ft tall and 5 -5 1/2 ft long, it once held a swing. It is very sturdy and I plan to attach wire mesh to each long side and plant 3 cucumber plants on each side. The base of the frame is 4 ft from one side to the other and will allow me to sneak underneath to pick the cucumbers. Really glad I held onto this frame for the past 5 or 6 years. I could also just throw plastic over it and use it for a small "greenhouse" to start seedlings in the spring. Also have some large 10-15 gallon containers that are about 14" tall that I will drill holes in the bottom to use as raised/patio planters. This website has obviously been a great influence on me. Only used a portion of my large flower beds for tomatoes, cantaloupe, cucumbers, peppers, sweet potatoes and assorted squash. This year I will be expanding my veggies and get more out of the beds without having to replant flowers all the time. Yeah for Tee.. you are the best!
Thank you to all the members for all the info that you have added and asked questions about that have also helped me so much.

I use 2"x3" fencing to grow my cucumbers on but found a 5' fence was not tall enough. I had to add another section of fence on top of that within a couple weeks. Cucumbers are growing and am already picking just 5 weeks after starting. Pic are when they were 3 weeks old. Now they are nearly 10' tall. Plant Groundcover Shrub Annual plant Grass
