this is my first time doing drying beans from the garden. I have a food dehydrator and think once I get the shelled I may use it for drying but was wondering if there is a better way?
also does any body know how long it takes beans to dry. the ones I am drying are about the same size a red beans but are different in color.

Stephanie,

You can always leave them on the vine to mature. They dry naturally that way. Once they are dried, you can shell them and put them in baggies until ready to cook.
