Eggplant

Hi, I have a small garden here in Mississippi. I have many thing growing one of which is eggplant. This is my first time growing eggplant and it is doing very well. My problem: the plant is getting very large and it is producing beautiful fruit but it does not have enough space, Can I move the plant to a new location without causing stress to the plant?
