Garden problems

Hmmm...Overall it looks like lack of moisture. Your soil does look sort of dry.
Can you do a soil test?
How old was the manure you applied? It may not be composted enough and is burning the plants.
Any bugs, grubs etc around?
The other plants/grass in the pics seem to be thriving.
I see you are in the south. I have heard lots of complaints due to the heat down there this year.

I agree with @harrylee lack of moisture, they need watering every day.

Thanks for the reply. Strange it has ben raining over here every othor day for about 3 weeks and they still didnt look very good. but I will start watering every evening.

I am not real sure. I have pretty good luck with my soil so far. You may want to ask at the local farm store (TSC etc)....
I saw a test kit at Walmart here for about $15,,,,not sure all it tests though.

You could try Amazon, they sell a lot of things about gardening. Over here we have garden centres.

I asked my neighbor. She said she had the local university test it for free.

Might be a soil problem i have ben having this problem for a couple of years now.

We have many garden centres here too....Trouble I find with them is I find they want twice the price for anything.

Yes you're right, it can be cheeper from Amazon but some of our supermarkets sell garden products as well these days, get my compost from them.

Same here. One of them last week were selling off comost last week as they don't want to store it I guess.....$1/bag.. I grabbed 10.

I don't know if they do that here.

Last year I had a very bad harvest and could not make any money. I decided I needed to buy a tractor to work in the field. Initially, I was worried that I would spend the money for nothing, but now I realize I did the right thing. This year things are going well. Despite the drought, I managed to earn twice as much as I did the year before. If the weather is right next year, I can earn even more.

B&Q DIY store have been selling off the bags of compost, so it must be a summer product for them and supermarkets, got a 60lt bag for £2.50.
