ya heat is not always friendly to plants that like cool feet. just like snow and too much rain isn't good for others. but hey welcome to the forum

Hello Everyone! 
So glad to find this site! I hope to improve on my gardening skills. I always start out great, but seem to lose steam, and eventually lose the game. But I get excited, and continue again. I see that there are 10 vegetables to grow in the Fall. Is now a good time to start planting here in Magnolia,Tx? I tried planting in pots this summer, but the heat seems to have taken a toll on everything.
