I am new to the site and the world of gardening. I am a mother of three precious little people that were my inspiration for growing our own food. We live in central North Carolina and have enjoyed watching our vegetables flourish from the tiny seeds planted!

Welcome!! Gardening is so much fun to do with kids and good for you for teaching them about growing your own food. I remember when my son was 2 or 3 and we were gardening - he loved planting the seeds and then the first time we pulled a carrot out of the ground, he just looked at it amazement and gasped! like he couldn't believe such a hidden treasure was underneath the dirt! lol
