Growing tomatoes

I came here for the advice, and now I need your help :)

Me and my grandma want to grow tomatoes at home first. We have already several tryings, but the results were awful. So we want to know the correct way of doing it. It is OK to use grow bags like these ones or it would be a bad decision? What size of grow bags should we have if they useful? Is it a good time to start growing or we are late?

I saw a thread by harrylee with the article, dedicated to the tomatoes growing, but we still feel unsure and we want to try grow it at home. Understand that we are nervous but want to have a good crop :D

Thank you so much! Wait for any advice!

I have never tried the grow bags, but have planters, so I guess that's similar. Make sure it's good quality soil not matter what you grow them in.
I would suggest not trying to grow from seeds, but get ready to plant seedlings for now. Depending on the size of the bag, you will likely only put 1 or 2 plants per bag.

Thank you! Should start seedlings now, so excited :D
I'm looking a detailed guide about how to grow Heirloom tomatoes.
Welcome Mitchel...good to have you here. Can't help much with the heirloom guide. Might YouTube help?
