I just started my first garden less than a month ago and discovered this site while searching for some information about Miracle-Gro. I accidentally used too much of it and wanted to make sure that my vegetables will be safe to eat. 🥴🥴 I read the article about the don’ts of gardening and enjoyed it so much that I registered just to leave a comment. Thank you, Logan. I’m glad to be here. I have tomato and pepper plants growing in containers. My tomato is growing after only 3 weeks and just noticed a red pepper growing. I am excited but was worried if they would be healthy to eat. I’m glad to hear that they will be alright. Thank you!

Your welcome, feed the tomato plants when the first set of fruit has set and with a tomato feed, a high potash feed with seaweed extract if you can, use that on your peppers as well now that they have fruit.

Too much Miracle-Gro will burn your plants. I’m glad you found the article helpful. The Miracle-Gro we use in our gardens is not the same chemical compound that they use to fertilize people, yet a few people are still afraid to use it on their plants. The Miracle-Gro we use is made up of organic materials that are scientifically proven to be safe for human consumption. There are some myths out there regarding the safety of Miracle-Gro, but it is still better to be safe than sorry. Hence I always suggest people to read the labels carefully before using a product.
