I just started my first garden less than a month ago and discovered this site while searching for some information about Miracle-Gro. I accidentally used too much of it and wanted to make sure that my vegetables will be safe to eat. 馃ゴ馃ゴ I read the article about the don鈥檛s of gardening and enjoyed it so much that I registered just to leave a comment. Thank you for sharing your advice in such a way that I don鈥檛 feel so bad about my mistakes. 馃憢馃徑馃槉

Hello and welcome to the forums
Your veg will be alright to eat. Are they in the ground or in containers?
Thank you, Logan. I鈥檓 glad to be here. I have tomato and pepper plants growing in containers. My tomato is growing after only 3 weeks and just noticed a red pepper growing. I am excited but was worried if they would be healthy to eat. I鈥檓 glad to hear that they will be alright. Thank you!

Too much Miracle-Gro will burn your plants. I鈥檓 glad you found the article helpful. The Miracle-Gro we use in our gardens is not the same chemical compound that they use to fertilize people, yet a few people are still afraid to use it on their plants. The Miracle-Gro we use is made up of organic materials that are scientifically proven to be safe for human consumption. There are some myths out there regarding the safety of Miracle-Gro, but it is still better to be safe than sorry. Hence I always suggest people to read the labels carefully before using a product.

Thank you for the advice! Could you explain what you mean when you said 鈥渢o fertilize people鈥?
