Hi!!

My name is Tiffany and I started my first raised bed garden in May and added three more in June. I live in Zone 8. So far we have planted Hot House Tomatoes, Sweet 100 Tomatoes, Squash, Longevity Spinach, Kale, Okra, Eggplant, Bell Peppers (green and red), Banana Peppers, Tabasco Peppers, Jalapeño Peppers, and Red Chili Peppers, Asparagus Roots; we also have a section of herbs in our beds. We have Purple Basil, Thai Basil, Sweet Basil, Chocolate Mint, Spearmint, Lavender, Thyme, Sage, Lemon Balm, Lemon Grass, Chives, Parsley, Oregano, and Cilantro seeds. I am hoping to learn how to plant a better bed garden as I go and what I can plant in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. We want to plant things our Family loves to eat and help cut down on food costs and eat things we grow ourselves. We also seem to have a really bad problem with leaf jumpers and would love to learn a way to prevent them organically and not to have to use Pesticides if at all possible. Our beds this year aren't really "neatly" planted so I hope that that skill improves.
