Pole bean problem..... in a companion of corn and squash. Texas zone 7
I was told to fertilize the corn during the growing time, otherwise the corn stalk would be very short. I used ladybug fertilizer. The corn did very well but I missed my window to harvest the corn. The pole beans look good, but no blossoms or bean pods. I know now that beans do not need nitrogen. Do you think that the fertilizer around the corn caused the problem with my beans. I may have time to replant a new crop of beans, but not sure if these beans will ever make beans.
