I have lived in Florida for ten years after spending almost my entire life in MN and WI. I still can't get used to the different growing season(s?) around here, so I have only tried growing a single tomato plant. The bunnies got 'em all.

I have a "Florida peach" tree that produces fruit the Bluejays love. I get one or two each season. Small ones.

I am planning on a raised bed vegetable garden, hoping I will have more luck against the bunnies. I'm not sure what to do about the Bluejays.

LOL and I tagged along for the ride - I'm not a gardener, per se, my wife does all that. I will be out there this afternoon with the tiller getting "her" garden ready for Spring veggies. (yeah, Spring is here now for us).
good to see you here OG - and hope you do well. This is how I picked up a couple of other forums, like the WalkingStick - there wasn't anyone at the helm.
