Hi everyone. I'm Kathy. Been gardening since I was a kid in Ohio. I moved to my sisters in Kentucky 2 1/2 yrs ago and gardening here is a whole new ballgame. Not much flat ground when you live on the side of a hill. :(

hello from washington state, Don't feel bad at least you can plant cross ways in the garden, me the soil here breaks rototillers it is full of boulders so each year I build a couple more raised beds so I can grow veggies. when our big barn was being built they broke an auger bit in half just drilling the holes for the 12x12 posts yes it was a 2 foot across auger bit and our dirt snapped it in half! my pig pen is built around a boulder the size of a large pick up truck. not a straight fence line on the place they are all at funky angles.
