Hello from St. Louis

Hello! I'm Lara H. and I'm a novice gardener - this year is my second in gardening after living in cities with no space to grow for many years. St. Louis is zone 6-7, and I've been growing tomatoes, eggplants, squash/cucumbers and okra (tomatoes are my first love). I've been trying to grow as much of what we eat as I possibly can. I'm hoping to learn more about efficient practices in home gardens, especially from anyone with experience since so much of what I've done is trial and error. I was thrilled to find Veggie Gardener!
