Hello! I'm new!

My name is Sharon...I'm newly retired and my husband and I have started veggie gardening just a couple years ago. We have more time to spend now!

I'm in Zone 8 and was so surprised to learn that Miracle Gro is NOT the way to go.
We have started composting and have some nice rich stuff...but how often and how much to put down?

Thanks for all the tips I've enjoyed so far.
