I found one snail but i found several green caterpillar type of bug like the biggest one @ 1 inch thin. They were getting in my tomatoes box. Any suggestions?

We use a dust to sprinkle on ours - it is a pesticide so you do have to wash your veggies before consuming them but it gets rid of them. Also do you know if you have snails or slugs, you can do a beer test. Put a small saucer of beer in your bed near the veggies and in the morning you will have a snail or slug in it if they are present. Apparently they are attracted to the yeast in the beer.
