Hi I'm Robin. I am in zone 5 area. i have been trying my hand at raised bed gardening for a several years. It is slowly growing. I have been experimenting with growing potatoes in tires for 3 years. Have not found the secret to it yet.

My husband has a few old tires lying around and I told him that next year I'd like to use them for growing potatos. I heard that is a good way to grow them and mound them up. What sorts of problems are you having with that method?
