Hi! My name is Bonnie. I live in South Louisiana...zone 9...Cajun country! Although I have basically grown up in this area, I have no Cajun French blood in me. I love digging in the dirt and planting everything...especially things that produce food to eat. People say I have a green thumb, but I'm not sure about all of that. I think it's more luck than anything. I do read about gardening and try to get tips on growing things. I live in an apartment complex, so most of my gardening is done in pots, but I'm in the process of moving into a house with a real yard!!!! Sooo, things in pots will be in the past. Hi Bonnie. It looks like we are in the same area. I also was excited to find this site. I've tried extending my garden this year and while doing so, I've tried my hand at growing several NEW things this year and for the most part all seems to be doing well. I've been trying to find so done that can help me identify a bean we are growing. They are suppose to be cream peas but I do believe the feed store gave me the wrong seeds. I'm excited to see someone on here that is in my zone. The rain and humidity in our area make gardening an extra challenge in our area. Glad to meet you Ms. Bonnie n
