I am in zone 5
I have been gardening ever since I was a child, but more seriously and for the benefit of my family for about 4 years now.
In my vegetable garden I love growing strawberries, raspberries, carrots, peas, beans, squash, zucchini, garlic, tomatoes, broccoli, rhubarb, and pumpkins - we usually try something new every year, but this is what normally gets planted. For flowers I love asiatic lilies, roses, and lilacs - I love others, but those are my faves.
I learn something new every year - but very interested in learning non chemical ways to deal with pests.
I have a blog with my sister that I have posted several garden posts on - most recently on the garlic I picked.
