Hi - my name is Wendy, and I live in Central NJ (zone 7). I have a small veggie garden, and have planted 3 scarlet runner bean plants. My husband built a trellis that is 8 feet high, and one of the plants has already grown beyond the top. It is now dangling downwards about 4 inches! Should I leave it as is, or should I pinch it back? It has beautiful flowers in its lower area, and I am really looking forward to eating the beans. I was raised in the UK, and my grandfather grew scarlet runners every year, and they were delicious! Advice would be greatly appreciated.
