Hi everyone:),

Just call me CP from middle GA (Eastern). This is my first year gardening. Did not take the advise of many & went in over my head, but I now think I have it under control. Still learning a lot as I go & already learning from my mistakes. Spent waayyy too much money to begin my first garden, but on the bright side, pretty much everything is completed for the years to come. Will definitely make some changes during the fall/winter 2012. I began in mid January preparing my layout/land so that I could plant cool weather veggies. My lettuces did absolutely wonderful. Just harvested the last of my lettuces 2 weeks ago. I have so much to talk about from beginning to end of what I did to prepare, what I planted, what harvest did well, and what did not do so well. I now have my warm season veggies/fruits planted. Just to let everyone know: cool weather planted was: onions, carrots, radishes, peas, new potatoes, sweet potatoes, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, lettuces, arugula, spinach, turnips, collards, & herbs. My warm weather: tomatoes, peppers, rutabagas, bush & pole beans, corn, okra, butternut & spaghetti squash, watermelon, cantelope, more herbs, & sunflowers. I know I am forgetting something:confused:, but that's what I like about forums, it can continue ;). I hope to learn lots from everyone!
Thanks for joining :D
