Good Morning, the temp. here has been in the high 80's and 90's no rain for 3 weeks my tomatoes have lots of blooms but they look dry, can I water the plants or just keep watering the roots? They are all in containers thank you

Henry, I would water the roots only ,,But water early in the morning, or late evening, and water really deep, I'm sure you have them mulched , even potted plants need a heavy mulch to conserve moisture

Since yours are in containers, and as hot and dry as it is, you will probably need to water twice a day
Going out to mulch my potted plants right now ;). What do you use for mulch?
JimZ , I use straw for mulch. but you can use pinestraw, grassclippings. I like straw the best
