Hello again, I know this isn't a vegetable. But, i'm thinking it is still edible if it is what i think this is.
its a broad leaf evergreen tree. it produces dark purple fruit in fall.
I am assuming it is Aronia, but the fruit clustering does not look like aronia to me.
looks like a madrona tree to me still fairly small. does the bark flake off? and are the leave just a rubbery feeling as they look? this so looks like several native plants to the PNW and none are good to eat. if it was a low growing vine I would say it was salal.
