Hello again, I know this isn't a vegetable. But, i'm thinking it is still edible if it is what i think this is.
its a broad leaf evergreen tree. it produces dark purple fruit in fall.
I am assuming it is Aronia, but the fruit clustering does not look like aronia to me.

does anyone know what this is?

No guesses here but the leaves resemble those on my cherry tree. (I ran out and grabbed one) LOL
looks like a madrona tree to me still fairly small. does the bark flake off? and are the leave just a rubbery feeling as they look? this so looks like several native plants to the PNW and none are good to eat. if it was a low growing vine I would say it was salal.
