Raccoons - A nuisance

Hello all, I and my family were out of state for a week to attend a function. Today when we were back home, I came to see that my garden was totally destroyed. There were some holes dug in my garden and while checking I found some poop too. I guess it would be the raccoons who have done this. I feel so sad and worried that how I would make up my garden to the original state. I and my husband hardly managed it and even today I found a raccoon running through my garden.
