Rodent in my Garden ?

Hello my name is agnes but sometimes some of my friend's called me aggie. live southern California
my climate zone 9a so it can get hot out here and dry. today I guest I could I can it was mild.
I have a small organic farm I have been working on for almost 2 years. it is only 1.25 of an acre but
I must say it need then strength of an ox and the patient of Job in the bible. I have some fruit trees,
about 25 of them but now I am trying to take care of my vegetable garden which seems for ever
I had to build a raise bed with shrubs and cardboard mulch, manure . I had planted some tomatoes and
swiss chard but now I had to replant because a had got rodents that is digging it out the ground they not eating
the plant, they just pulling it out the ground so I had to build I rock base around each plant, I also add some
spice seasoning between the rocks pretty much they still bother that is not well protected I let you know what happen next
time.::cool::

Hello' it's 2purplelily just want to say thank to all for the advice, I like the all that I think the one with the cat is funny
but I couldn't do that to poor kitty he might lunch meat for the cayote out here. I try with the soda today my kids always
has soda the potatoes sound good too. the heat out here on the 138 pearblossom ca, is on its FRiday Be safe Happy Weekend

quick question how could I get rid of crabgrass and Bermuda grass with using chemical I am not allow to spray chemical thanks

1 gallon of vinegar,2 cups of Epsom salt,1/2 cup dish soap. To kill off any weeds/grass, make sure the area hasn't been watered and doesn't get water for about 3-5 days after. use it liberally :) use it in a pump sprayer.

I tried this and it looks like its working for me. It's the 3rd day now and I noticed that the weeds are slowly dying. It's amazing how epsom salt really makes wonder. Thanks for sharing this again Stephanie!
it slowed the growth of a very invasive black berry at my place and kills lesser weeds with out being toxic to my free range chickens and horses. plus it doesn't stay in the soil for decades.
