I live in southern Illinois and today its very sunny but the temp is only expected to reach 56 degrees (its already 50). I live in an apartment and have several plants in pots. So I can move my plants in out quite easily.

My question is even with the cold temps, will my plants do better outside for the afternoon to collect some full sun light? Then I will move them back inside later tonight once the sun sets.

Im currently growing:

Basil
Thyme
Oregano
Cilantro
Rosemary
Tomatoes
Roma Tomatoes
Bell Peppers
Jalapeno Peppers
Cayenne Peppers
Strawberries

Any advice on even a single plant will be greatly appreciated :D

I don't know about the veggies but the garden centers have the herbs and cole crops out in Northern Illinois today (They pulled them inside when it started snowing yesterday) and my strawberries are always outside and they look good and are growing well
