I'm excited to be a part of the forum. There's been so many times I want to get advice from other gardeners but have few friends who are as interested as I. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing with all of you.
sort of a PNW gardener here too. I did live in Seattle for about 10 yrs and gardened in one of the community pea-patch gardening areas. now I'm in southern oregon - still zone 8, but gets much hotter in the summer than the typical PNW.
