I found this website and information to my question on what was wrong with my tomato plants and it appears to be curly top virus; THANKS! Your site gave me more than the college sites I visited as to what to do now that I know what's wrong. In brief, as I understand it, its to through my plants away sealed in a garbage bag. I have my plants in a container. These are my 2nd plants on the year and wonder if I should also dispose of the soil (90% was a result of my compost pile). Our city has a yard waste container that's picked up weekly that I could through the soil into. Is this too extreme or will the virus not winter over to next year?
