Hello! Just call me Khu, I am 54 years old, widow with four children but three of them are already married. Only my youngest daughter is staying with our home. My daughter is an English teacher and she come home once a week. Due to my loneliness being a widow I focus on this hobby veggie gardening. It is a great help for me to raise vegetables in the container because our house has no space for garden. I just started this month to plant vegetable like petchay, tomatoes, and pepper. Hope and pray through this page I can have more information and guidance to be a productive gardener.

Hi Khu,
Good luck with your container garden. I've been trying to container garden in addition to regular gardening. My goal with the containers is to grow healthy productive fruit trees and to convince my daughter that she can garden on her patio. I tried growing tomatoes, cucumbers and cantaloupe in containers this summer. The tomatoes did well but the cucumber and cantaloupe only produced 1 fruit each. I'll try again in 2015.
