Today i planted up 4 planters with cosmos, Snapdragons and pot marigolds. After i had took out the tulips and put in new compost.

Cleaned up my compost area yesterday. It is at the back of the property and I have lots of room. I have 3 piles and other piles of just leaves, branches & cow manure. I mix some in each pile and then turn them over every couple of weeks.

Your piles look pretty small. Perhaps this is why you are having trouble keeping them hot maybe?

A little bit of the white stuff this morning. I have radishes, spinach and onions out there toughing it out.....lol. Hopefully, winters last kick.

Sowed some wildflowers in the border, i covered them with fleece because the cats will dig holes in the soft ground.

We are having a bit of a cold snap for the last few days.
Yesterday, I cleaned up mu compost area and built a couple of bins from pallets. That should help with making and turning the compost ingredients .

Planted a couple of rose bushes. They are just from the grocery store but looked pretty healthy.

Nothing this weekend, had to move a bed yesterday and my hip is killing me today. Will start my cucumber seeds this coming week. Wish me luck.
