For those in the PNW we can start now with peas and lettuce. A little help for the rest of the country can be found here: http://www.almanac.com/gardening they have a seed planting guide, transplant guide, square foot garden plans, etc. lots of gardening help.

we are having such a nice warm wknd forecasted that I was thinking I could probably put in some lettuce, spinach and kale seeds. maybe even my sugar snap peas. Because of our forecasted very dry and drought summer coming up, I will likely not do much as far as gardening for hot summer plants. I'll skip the beans, peppers, zucc, etc. maybe just put in a couple tomato plants, but otherwise am pretty much sticking to spring crops. This will be my first summer in 14 yrs that I'm not doing a big garden.
